the filmmakers

Brian Stockton is an accomplished Canadian director who often blurs the lines between genres by invoking numerous styles within a single film. His work has screened at film festivals around the world, including several world premieres at the Toronto International Film Festival.

JAMES WHITTINGHAM (James Pittman) is an award-winning Canadian comic actor whose career has spanned all corners of the media landscape from cable access television where he got his comedy start to garnering millions of viewers on national TV (Just For Laughs) and YouTube (FastFoodTV). His independent film career has spanned three decades. He became known for improvisational comic acting with his cult TV series The James and Kevin Show and more recently in indie features like WolfCop and I Heart Regina. Whittingham co-wrote The Sabbatical screenplay with Stockton. He's a writer, filmmaker, and former podcaster. Whittingham holds a film degree from the University of Regina where he began his career in showbiz.
